I will also inclue photographs of other artists falling under the genre I want to focus on. Their pictures will be either on the front as teasers, or in the content page.

After taking a variety of photographs at various venues that '6VI' (the band I am featuring on the cover and in the double page spread) played, I have chosen to focus my interview mainly on Frankie Kamal, the band's vocalist, as he is usually centre of attention and formed the band.

I have decided to base my product on the Hip Hop magazine 'Vibe', as it features many of the artists that I want to and it is very sucessful. It also uses similar layout and font to those of my own choice. 'Vibe' includes many conventional aspects of a Hip Hop magazine, such as the mis en scene within the photography, the bold magazine titles and simple backgrounds, (in their case gradiated) and teasers that follow the shape of the photograph and I have used elements of each magazine looked at to help me with my flat plan.

To help me to decide on a colour scheme for my magazine, I created a colour anaylsis slideshow, showing how I used my information on consumer preferences from the questionnaire in my final product.

I have decided to present a second slideshow in order to compare the typical conventions of a music magazine in areas such as layout, colour scheme, font and photography. By doing so, I can meet the requirements set by other sucessful magazines and professionally develop the detail and thought in my own magazine.

To gain a better understanding of the typical reader of my magazine, I have created a reader profile, stereotypical to what I would expect of the the target audiences' personalities.  This will also help me to decide on the layouts and aesthetic appearances of my front cover, contents page and double page spread.

In order to design my magazine to meet the requirements of the consumer, I have designed a seperate questionaire about visual prospects and content of a magazine, that has been filled out by the same 10 that answered the personality qustionaire.  Both visual (such as layout and colourscheme) and content (for example, features and content of the double page spread) aspects of the magazine can be constructed in a way that will interest the consumer by reviewing the information given by them below.
